Social Investment Committee

The governance structure of the social investments made by Anglo American in Brazil includes a policy structured by criteria and procedures that guide the evaluation of the projects received by the Local Social Investment Committees, which recommend them for approval by the Corporate Committee. These criteria and procedures were presented to the communities in the PECs (Community Involvement Plans).

In addition, the company made available a manual for project preparation (also available on the company website), which was the focus of training in the respective communities.
