Strategic partnership

The three-year strategic global partnership with the NGO FFI (Fauna e Flora Internacional) is related to Anglo American’s biodiversity conservation program and has three major objectives: enable the prevention of potential impacts on biodiversity, qualify for conservation actions and provide support to Anglo American’s conservation activities around the world.

The Cubatão unit implemented the native plant nursery and the captive breeding and release center. The unit also started operations in a totally preserved area of the Atlantic Forest for comparison of conservation status.
