Biodiversity management plans

The Niquelândia and Barro Alto units have a Biodiversity Management Plan in place, while Catalão/Ouvidor works with an informal project, as per company guidelines.

In Cubatão, the action plan is at the partnership negotiation phase for implementation of biodiversity conservation projects and income generation for the local community. The Exploration unit has not developed a project until 2009, and same is not applicable to the São Paulo unit.
